Frequently Asked Questions

1. What happens if I get called in at the last minute and need to cancel?

We get it — duty calls. If you’re EMS or a public safety worker, there is no cancellation fee

when this happens. Just shoot us a quick text or call when you can, and we’ll work with you to

reschedule.

2. Do I have to be home when you clean?

Nope, not unless you want to be. Many clients provide a lockbox code or key, and we handle

everything while you're at work or resting. Just let us know your preference during onboarding.

3. How do I pay?

We accept cash, check, or online payment (you’ll receive a secure link). Payment is due when

the clean is completed, unless otherwise arranged. Donations are also welcomed to support our

Code - C: Compassion Clean program.

4. What products do you use? Are they safe for kids and pets?

We proudly use Better Life Cleaning products, which are natural, safe for humans and pets,

and highly effective. If you have specific sensitivities or preferences, just let us know — we are

happy to accommodate.

5. Do you clean homes with pets?

Absolutely. We love pets (and we know they can add to the mess!). Just let us know ahead of

time what animals are in the home, and whether any special instructions are needed.6. Can I book a one-time clean?

Yes! While many of our clients are on recurring schedules, we do offer one-time or occasional

cleans when availability allows. Just contact us early to secure a spot.

7. What areas do you service?

We proudly serve Battle Ground, Vancouver, Hockinson, Brush Prairie, and surrounding

areas. If you’re not sure if we cover your area, just reach out — we’ll do our best to

accommodate.

8. If I’m not EMS, can I still book with Code Clean?

Yes — while we specialize in serving public safety families, we welcome all clients who value

our mission and understand our priority scheduling for first responders.

9. What happens if I miss a payment?

We will send a friendly reminder first. If payment isn’t received within 24 hours of service (after

the second reminder), a $10 late fee will apply.

10. Do you offer gift cards or donations for families in need?

Yes! Through our Code - C: Compassion Clean program, you can donate toward free cleans

for families experiencing hardship. We also offer gift cards upon request — they make a

thoughtful and practical gift.
